Hi AGA-
My mom told me "Happy Anniversary" today and gave me the biggest, longest hug. She says it's been almost exactly one year since she and my dad found me at AGA. I don't remember AGA very well, but my mom says it's okay because I was not there very long - maybe only a week. I know of AGA though, because my mom talks about it often. I am my mom's shadow and follow her around everywhere because she thinks I am the best! We are like peas and carrots. We go to the mountains and hike, the beach and run, and the creek to splash around in. Some of our favorite things to do are play in my backyard, chase squirrels, go on long walks, play in the water, and take rides in the car.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and let you know what I have been up to. I also want you to know that you should keep it up - everything you are doing to help us Goldens. Mom says that her life has been fuller than ever since I have been around and she doesn't know what she ever did without me. I don't know what that means really, but I think it is a good thing.
Thank you for my mom and dad -
Nali (Formerly Mia)
PS - Mom just caught me on her laptop and she is attaching a picture of me in the "snow". That stuff sure is cool

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to update you on my new life- it’s the best. I have a great family and a cat sister, Lily, who is the coolest. We love to hang out together. She meows me stories and I always listen patiently (although I’m still not sure what she’s saying). I also have a new best friend, a chocolate lab. We take walks together every night. I’ve already lost 4 pounds, and I must say I’m looking good. Check out the picture! Thank you AGA for my amazing forever home; oh and the pink bunny- I take it with me everywhere I go. Life could not be any better I get so much love and attention I don’t think my tail has stop wagging!!!!
Lots of love,
Dixie

Hi Adopt-a-Golden Atlanta,
I just wanted to let you know that I had a great time at Goldenrama a couple of weeks ago. I had ice cream, met a ton of nice goldens, swam in all five pools and even saw my foster Mom and foster brothers while I was there. This is a photo of me towards the end of the day when I was feeling sooo good.
Thanks for putting on such a great event!!! I think my 'forever' Mom might even have had more fun than me!!! :)
Love,
Buddy Read

Adopt a Golden Friends,
Reagan here, I was the abandoned 7 month old pup you found at Ronald Reagan Park. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for giving me the best life ever. My forever home and family are the greatest and things are even better now that we have Rusty. Rusty was hit and rolled by a car, abandoned, and thrown in a shelter for days. AGA came to his rescue and we planned to foster Rusty till he got back on his paws. But in minutes it was obvious that me and Rusty were meant to be together forever. He is my very best friend and I could not have asked for a better brother. Mom and dad always tell me that I am the easy perfect dog, but Rusty likes to get himself into trouble. He loves to chew on things and once ate a whole cooked chicken. I think it’s funny but I’m trying to teach him to be good. We’re always together so I know soon he will understand it’s better to behave because that’s how you get the treats. Either way, me, Rust, mom and dad thank you AGA for giving us all such a wonderful forever!!!!
Love,
Reagan and Rusty

Hey AGA!
Remember me, Moreland? I was found wandering the streets and you all were kind enough to give me some great foster parents and treat me for those yucky heartworms. Well as you can see, these days I’m one happy, healthy, good looking guy. I have the best forever home- with four kids and a great mom and dad. My best pal is probably my Pink Panther doll- it’s the coolest and one of my girls gave it to me so it’s extra special. I carry it everywhere I go. This is a picture of me and my neighbor Duke. We’re good friends. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of dog he is because he is a whole lot bigger than any of the animals I met during my days on the streets. Mom says he’s a horse but I’ve never heard of that bread. Either way, Duke is fun. I give him lots of kisses (he is a lot bigger than me after all, you have to be nice). Life is great and I have all of you to thank.
Love and Licks,
Moreland

Hello Adopt a Goldeners,
I just wanted to check in and thank you for my great life. You may remember me as Snickers but now I go by Brinkley. I have such a great family and everyone tells me I’m “just the sweetest”. I have put on a bit of weight and I must say I’m looking good. Mom says they may trail me for Happy Tails and I hear that’s pretty cool. But in the meantime I’m happy riding in the car and chasing tennis balls- I could do it all day. Thank you again for my wonderful life.
Lots of Love and Licks-
Brinkley

Hello Friends,
Apollo here, remember me? I was that large energetic one year old you rescued a couple of months ago. I am still big and full of energy and I am having a ball with my new family. I am the center of attention at all times and I love it. I go to work with my dad all the time and I slobber all over his car. I get to run every morning with my dad and we play and retrieve every evening. I love to go out to the lake and play in the water and chase birds, squirrels and airplanes (which fascinate me- they are the coolest). When my dad isn’t home, my mom lets me up on the couch and on the bed and I love to cuddle. I am having a blast and I am so glad that I live here and I get to stay forever.
Thanks so much AGA,
King Apollo

Dear Adopt a Golden, I just wanted to thank you for helping me find my forever family! Although you called me Dolly, the blonde from Tennessee, my new name is Lulu, and my mom says that I am definitely a Lulu! This is a picture of me and one of the new toys. That toy didn’t stay new for long though I like to nibble holes in my toys and pull ALL the stuffing out- it’s so fun! Life is great here. Every morning my mom gets up and we go for a 2 mile walk and a couple of times a week we go to the dog park at Pinckneyville Park and I get to play with all my friends. My best friend is Riley, a golden who was adopted too. We give each other a big hug when we first see each other and then we run, wrestle and chew on each other, its GREAT! Although my picture is really cute, I am starting to look like a big girl. I have lost my baby teeth and my puppy fluff and I am getting my grown up coat now. Everyone comments on how happy and pretty I am. I also have a people brother Mitchell, he is fun to wrestle with and go for walks. I really love EVERYONE but I am learning to use my manners. Big girls need to act like ladies you know. Thank you Adopt a Golden and my foster mom, Christie for finding my forever family. Love,
Lulu (Dolly)

Hey guys!
Just wanted to update you on my new life! I have a new cat sister, Lily, who is great. She's missing a front leg and I try to help by licking her but she doesn't think much of it. None the less, I really am loving my life. I get to go on long walks everyday with my mom and my new best friend, Kona. Sometimes I would rather just sit on the couch but Kona, who is a chocolate lab, is a lot of fun and I’m losing weight and I’m feeling much better. A big thanks to all you people at Adopt a Golden for taking care of me and finding me a new mom and a new home. Oh and thanks for the pink bunny too. I take it everywhere with me. It's my favorite toy. Merry Christmas and thanks again- I couldn’t ask for anything more!
Love,
Dixie

Hello! Tucker (Jingles) here. I am so happy in my new home. I love running around in my new yard and taking long walks with his big sister Allie Gator. My mom says I am a love-bug, and always under-footso she calls me the velcro puppy) She loves me a lot and says she can’t remember when I wasn’t here. Allie Gator is my sister Golden and she acts like my mother and is always following me to make sure I don’t get into too much trouble. I taught her how to dig in the yard and mom wasn’t too happy with that one… who says a old dog can’t learn a new trick? I am sending you my photo from Allie Gator's 10th brithday party in January. We had lots of fun and lots of treats.
Thanks for finding me my home AGA!
Your Pal,
Tucker (Jingles) Johnson
